TOURNAMENT HISTORY:

This will be the 30th Annual Seminole Memorial Invitational soccer tournament hosted by the Florida Soccer alliance (FSA).  As one of the longest running tournaments in Florida, each of the past tournaments has proven to be great events.  Last year we attracted over 165 teams and we expect to accept even more this year.  Surrounded by the local attractions, theme parks, and all that the area has to offer, this is the place to bring your team for the Memorial Day weekend.  You will compete at some of the best soccer fields in the central Florida area at the Seminole Soccer Complex (11 fields) home of the Seminole Soccer Club, the Adjacent Sylvan lake Park  (6 fields) and the Central Winds Complex.

           

GENERAL INFORMATION: 

The 30th Annual Seminole Memorial Invitational Soccer Tournament is open to all USSF affiliated teams , Boys (U9 –U19) and Girls (U9 – U19). Out of state teams are welcome.  U9 and U10 teams will play in a 6v6 format and may carry up to 12 players on their roster.  U-11 and U12 teams will play in an 8v8 format and may carry up to 14 players, U13 to U-16 teams may carry 18 players on their rosters and will play in a full-sided format while u17 teams and up may carry up to 22 players in their roster.  A player may play for one team only during the tournament.  Teams, players and coaches must be in good standing and be registered with their State or National association.  Players and coaches must have current, valid & verified player passes which have been laminated with a current photo on the back.  For FYSA teams only, the official Roster is the downloaded FYSA roster, and for guest players, the signed guest player forms attached to the roster is all that is required.
 
TOURNAMENT FORMAT:  Each team will have a minimum of three (3) games.  A typical schedule would include two (2) games on Saturday and one (1) game on Sunday or vice versa.  Semi-finals and Finals will be played on Monday.

 
GUEST PLAYERS:  Teams may include up to FOUR guest players. 

 
AGE GROUPS FOR TEAMS:

U9 – U19  Boys
U9 – U19  Girls
  
AWARDS: Following the completion of each Championship Match, the two teams will present themselves to the tournament awards area.  1st and 2nd place teams will receive Awards.

 
APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Any team entering after the May 9th deadline must pay an additional $25, please double check with us before you sign up to make sure that there is still a spot available. A check or money orders made payable to Players Sports Marketing must accompany all applications.  Fees are $375 for U9 and U10 teams, $425 for U11/U12 teams and $475 for all other age groups.
  
ACCEPTANCE:  Acceptance letters will be emailed by May 12th.  Any team that is accepted and later withdraws will forfeit their application fee.  Non-accepted teams will be notified as soon as possible, and their fee will be returned immediately.  Teams will be turned away once their age group is filled regardless of deadline. 

 
Team check in
Team Check-in place on Friday May 23rd 7:00-8:30 at the Hilton Garden Inn 705 Currency Cr Lake Mary Fl 32746 407-531-9900. In order to shorten time required for check-in, please have your roster, medical release forms, and player passes in alphabetical order. There will be no coaches meeting. At the mandatory team registration, coaches must submit the original plus 5 copies of the team roster with guest player forms attached. Additionally each team must provide a notarized Medical Release From for each player and present current, valid and verified laminated player passes.
